As Will Wright continues to to inspire others, one has to ask, "Who inspires Will Wright?"
As I was engaged in my morning drive, I was treated to a report on NPR's program "Morning Edition" called, "Open Mic." The cool thing about this airing was that it features a very prominent game designer, Will Wright. The twist of this interview was that Mr. Wright was the interviewer! Huh! That’s original. In the interview, Mr. Wright spoke to the inspiration for most of his games, Harvard University's Professor Edward Osborne Wilson. In the interview, Prof. Wilson describes his pension for biology as a toddler, the need for education reform, and his quest to find answers for the existential questions. Listen and enjoy.

Very nice post and
Very nice post and information.
Interesting dude
Will Wright is an interesting dude and one of the few people who is not afraid to try drastically new things when it comes to games design. I like most of his work for that reason.
With the way he talks I am not surprised that it was someone in the academic community that was his inspiration.
